At Iron Horse we pride ourselves on customer satisfaction.

We specialise in servicing and repair of most manufacturers of Model locomotives. Models can be repaired depending upon the availability of replacement parts. All locomotives can be serviced in some degree.

If you have any queries please use the form on the contact us page for a service / repair quotation. Please do not send models to us until you have spoken to us about the issue.

The basic price for servicing is £24.00 per locomotive plus postage.  If repair is required any spare parts and labour will be additionally charged.  We will not proceed until we have had written confirmation confirming the request for repair.  Ensure that items sent to us are well packaged as we cannot be held responsible for any damage in transit. We recommend that, if possible, use the manufacturers original packaging.

We use Royal Mail with tracking. Tracking numbers available on request.

We will not be responsible for models lost, damaged or delayed in transit to ourselves. In this unlikely event claims for compensation must be made by you directly to the courier carrier which you used. If however the package is lost or damaged on the return journey, we will provide you with the certificate of postage. so that you can claim any compensation due.

We also have a wide knowledge of DCC and fitting DCC chips to locomotives and rolling stock.
